I am just a girl, with a family, in the middle of a tragedy. In late February of 2013 my husband of 4 1/2 years woke up with a brain injury. Our life changed more than I can ever comprehend that day. We were super happy, crazy in love, active, and busy raising our (at the time) 1 1/2 year old daughter. Though we’re not active in the same way, I am happy to say that we are still crazy in love, and have many happy moments. We are trying to figure out how to raise our daughter together while working through how to recover from a brain injury. My role as a mom and a wife is still in tact, it is just different. This is my story, our journey-the good, the bad, and the ugly. Things won’t always be happy, but they’ll be real. I am learning how to love in a much deeper way than I ever knew I could. God is giving me more strength, grace and courage than I ever knew I needed.
